2 Ways to Teach
 
1. volunteers: covered by co-op insurance. receive a small discount towards classes for their family members, reimbursed for materials and free to use co-op materials.
 
2. contract teachers: Paid hourly for their time in the classroom. May also charge a per student materials fee. Must have their own insurance. They are responsible for taxes and business licencing.
 
Workshops 
 
Workshops may run for one class period or up to three months we accept proposals for workshops on an ongoing basis. To submit a workshop proposal please click here and complete the form.
Classes 
 
Our classes run the whole school year (September-May). The deadline for submitting classes for the 2020-2021 school year is January 3rd 2020.  To submit a class proposal please click here and complete the form
 
 
Our class periods are approximately one hour long for most courses; but we can accommodate making them longer or shorter in certain situations.

Period 1: 11:00-11:55AM

Period 1: 10:00-10:55AM

Lunch: 12:00-12:40PM

Period 2: 11:00-11:55AM

Period 2: 12:45-1:40PM

Lunch: 12:00-12:40PM

Period 3: 1:45PM-2:40PM

Period 3: 12:45-1:40PM

Period 4: 2:45-3:40PM

Period 4: 1:45-2:40PM

 
 
We are an inclusive, secular co-op with a lot of diversity in philosophy, beliefs, and ability.
 
After you have submitted a proposal our scheduling committee will reach out to you via email to discuss your proposal. We will also encourage new teachers to visit co-op, meet families, and see the space at the time of proposal submission. We encourage you to email our Scheduling Committee with any questions or concerns regarding your proposal or becoming a new Eastside Homeschool Co-Op teacher at scheduling@ehptsa.org.
